“Blow those trumpets and shofars! Shout with joyous triumph before King Yahweh! Let the ocean’s waves join in the chorus with their roaring praise until everyone everywhere shouts out in unison, ‘Glory to the Lord!’ Let the rivers and streams clap with applause as the mountains rise in a standing ovation to join the mighty choir of exaltation. Look! Here He comes! The Lord and Judge of all the earth! He’s coming to make things right and to do it fair and square. And everyone will see that He does all things well!”
Psalm 98:6-9 (TPT)
“But how can we rejoice?” asks the person carrying a heavy burden.
The answer is found in the Book of Instruction, the Bible. God tells us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. If we insist on carrying everything the world throws at us, it will not be long before our joy disappears and we begin to believe there is nothing left to rejoice about.
Yet God offers another way.
It is possible to live so free from anxiety, fear, offense, and oppression that you feel lighter than you ever thought possible. I know because I have lived both ways. There is nothing good about living outside of God’s Word.
Remain in His Word, for it is the truth that sets us free. As we learn to believe what He says and align our lives with His instruction, understanding begins to grow. Knowledge of Scripture alone is not enough. We must also believe it and obey it.
The world contradicts God’s truth at nearly every turn. That is why it takes focus, discipline, and perseverance to remain rooted in His Word. Guard your heart, guard your mind, and guard your speech. Refuse to let corrupt communication come from your lips.
Choose His truth over the world’s confusion. Choose faith over fear. Choose praise over complaint.
Then you will discover that joy is not dependent upon your circumstances. It is the fruit of abiding in Christ.
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3).

As one who used to fear walking into a room alone, I am now able to stand before multitudes and share the wisdom and truth imparted to me as I sought the Lord with all my heart and chose to walk away from the world to be fully alive in Christ.
Now I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Fear and doubt can’t stay when faith is acted upon.
