These two beautiful women changed my life. In honor of Yvonne Fedderson
April 7, 1935-January 23, 2026

From the moment I met Yvonne Fedderson and Sara O’Meara, it felt as though I had always known them. Their pure hearts are like being in the presence of Jesus. They made everyone feel genuinely welcomed, deeply seen, and profoundly loved.
Every year they send Christmas gifts, birthday cards, and notes for special holidays (to thousands of individuals they have made friendships with over the years). Every single donation or gift, no matter how small, is acknowledged with a handwritten thank-you note. That kind of faithfulness and personal care is rare, and I don’t think they could ever fully grasp the depth of the impact they’ve had on so many lives.
People often speak about the millions of children rescued through their work with Childhelp, and rightly so, but that is only one part of their calling.
For years, they also faithfully provide monthly chapel services where countless lives are healed, restored, and forever changed by God through their willingness to serve Christ fully and without reservation.

Who walks away from Hollywood stardom to care for children the world had labeled “throwaways”?
Who sacrifices personal time, family holidays, and comfort to serve people they may never meet again?
Because of these two women, millions upon millions have been touched, healed, and shown what true love looks like in action.
If you want to know what the Church should look like, look at their lives. They are the radiant Bride as living examples of what Christ longs to reveal through His people. They surrendered selfish ambition to serve the living God by loving what He loves: unity, compassion, healing the sick, setting the oppressed free, and giving everything so that no one is ever overlooked or discarded.

These two women have been my dear friends for the past fifteen years. There are not enough words to say that could ever fully express how much I appreciate and love them. They truly changed my life for good, because they taught me what Jesus is really like and He became my reality.
