“and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor? He who is bowed down shall speedily be released; he shall not die and go down to the pit, neither shall his bread be lacking.”
Isaiah 51:13-14 ESV
I wanted to share this with you because I know how it can be to be overwhelmed by oppression that seems to come out of nowhere suddenly.
We want to know what is happening or why it is happening to us. We assume that we must have done something wrong or that the enemy has a legal right to cause us to be oppressed, but he has no legal right to oppress the children of God unless we agree with him and accept sicknesses and bodily sufferings as our portion in life, but if we agree with that, we are agreeing that the sufferings of Jesus were not enough and that we somehow have to do more to save ourselves.
This can cause fear to overtake our thoughts and begin tormenting our minds with the lies of the accuser.
This is where we are called to stand against evil and refuse to partner with the lies.
I say this with all my faith placed in the Lord and not believing that it is my role to save myself, but declaring God’s word-All of His promises that find their “Yes! And Amen!” In Christ Jesus, will bring those promises into reality as we confess them with our mouths and meditate on them in our hearts. As we turn off the outside world and tune into the Living God who rescues and saves all who call on His name!
If you don’t allow your thoughts to go down sick street or be darkened by destruction drive, but instead be enlightened by Eternal Peace and Salvation’s highway of holiness, that is when you will no longer fear anything but will trust completely in the One who is faithful all the time to His Word. He will not change and stop fulfilling His promises in Christ.
Will you believe and tune out the doctor reports and the Physical pain attacking your body?
Speak Truth to your circumstances and allow those seeds to be planted rather than words of despair and death.
Life and death are in the POWER of the Tongue!
Not in the power of a doctor’s skills or a devil’s plotting but in the POWER of one’s very own tongue!

All of Hell is set on fire by it! Yikes! Every word should be released with great conviction and clarity to be properly aligned with God’s Word.
Don’t give your mouth free rein because it has no plans to protect and preserve you if your thoughts are darkened by unbelief or doubt that comes through fear and dread.
