You can’t produce what is good when all you think about is what is wrong or the faults of others or yourself or nonsense and things that can’t produce life.
I am doing a study on words and this is what futile words could also mean. It says in the Bible “idle words” “they are darkened in their understanding due to the futility of their thoughts” (or that can also be used in the hardness of ones heart that comes through thinking futile and worthless thoughts about self or others) “cast down all vain imaginations” having vain imaginations means thoughts that make something or someone bigger than Christ and His finished works that should create a heart at rest in His peace and love.
A wicked man is one who refuses to believe God’s Word and therefore he never finds peace or a place to rest and keep going no matter what is happening in the world.
People die or perish for lack of knowledge or understanding God says in the Bible, and so when people are all dying from sickness and diseases that were once common as a cold, well the fact that people believed it was “common” for all to get a cold, was the first seemingly unnoticed detour of deception that was introduced in the people so that two or more witnesses announced identical testimonies or witnessed to what happened to them so it became established as something that could happen to you also, but as all of these things that were erected or built up on a foundation of false beliefs begin to crumble to nothing, everyone will see and understand what they formerly were totally blinded to from hardness of hearts or doubt and unbelief to God’s Word as absolute Truth.
“You will give account for every idle word that comes from your mouth”, Jesus said.
That’s how people are able to set all hell on fire with their words. They speak against God’s Word which is the highest authority established in a realm that unbelievers can’t believe exists and therefore they resist the Word and they are destroyed with their own words, thoughts and vain imaginations.
This is crucial to grasp for all of us who want to see good rather than evil rule in the earth. Speak words of life, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit anointing (that all believers have) about everything and everyone and never let a single word of negativity come out of your mouth. The only way to do that is to unpollute ones mind of wrongful thinking by speaking and learning God’s Word.
This is why the schools were not allowed to teach the Truth-God’s Word, the Bible, also known as Jesus when it became flesh and lived among us. And prayer was locked out for a time because that is a powerful form of worship to God because it shows that a person believes and is seeking God for help, so they must believe He is good and will help!
When people don’t pray they lose out on what they need to be strong and pure in this world. Pure because they believe and trust the Lord not because they go to church or serve in a church.
The absolute truth is that Jesus paid for all misdeeds that man could ever do, but in order to not be condemned by them, a person must walk in the higher realm of faith, and to get to the realm of faith, one must first have hope that their is a God who is good and can help them. From the realm of faith one can grow into the realm of Love and begin to walk on the highway of holiness but love isn’t what some people think it is. Love described in the scriptures is defined as such:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 TPT
Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. [5] Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. [6] Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong. [7] Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.
Similar is the ESV Bible
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;[b] 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. love never ends.
If you are willing to remain in Love in Christ and not allow the wickedness or the idle talk or slanderous talk come into your mind or heart, you can find peace and stay stable through the most trying of times.
To overcome takes an act of God’s grace and mercy so don’t try to go forth without it!!
Don’t allow people to poison your heart and thoughts with negativity and unbelief or disobedience to the Word. It’s not what we can do, but what He already did for us and gives us to step right over the pits and traps laid for people to get stuck or killed or lost in.
Righteousness exalts a nation and all who believe in Jesus receive the righteousness of God, so our nation is exalted when we have leaders who believe and are willing to speak the truth and live in that Truth!
