Prayer is Power for Good

If you know that God is good and you turn to Him for help with burdens too heavy to carry or situations too big for you to handle alone, He will help you.

When you begin praying about areas of your life, your family, your community, or even the world that are not in alignment with God’s goodness and truth, something powerful happens. If those prayers come from a heart filled with genuine love for what is good, righteous, and life giving, you become a partner with the Lord in bringing light into places that have long been covered in darkness.

Prayer is not meaningless or powerless. Scripture says that “the prayer of a righteous person avails much.” Faith works by love, so if you have love for someone or something and you pray to align it with God’s will, God will fulfill His Word that you prayed.

Many people underestimate the power of prayer because they cannot physically see what is happening, but God works in ways beyond human understanding. Hearts can soften. Lives can change. Fear can leave. Hope can return. What once seemed impossible can begin to shift when people seek God with sincerity and trust Him.

The world often teaches people to depend only on themselves, but God invites us to depend on Him. He is not distant from our pain or indifferent to our struggles. He is near to those who call upon Him in truth.

No matter how dark a situation may seem, God is able to bring light, healing, restoration, and purpose where there once appeared to be none.

When all seems lost, Jesus is the name to cry out to for help. He will never reject anyone who comes to him for help.

Jesus said that he will return with recompense and rewards. He comes to help those who have been wounded and suffering loss for doing good or for believing He will help.
