God is my reality, but I know that many have not believed or known Him as anything more than a myth or someone that has no impact on their everyday existence. That is actually hilariously stupid to think that the One who created us has no impact or place in our everyday existence. We wouldn’t be here without Him, and nothing can exist outside of God’s presence or creation, because He created everything that we need to live from air to water to love and light.
I can honestly say that when I found the Lord or He drew me to himself, I was a broken and fearful girl who needed to be set free and become a woman that is able to believe for great things and help create a beautiful world for the next generation to have a better life than the past generations.
No matter how much or how little a person has in this world, if they walk with the Lord and have an intimate relationship with him, they will always be at peace and never need to be afraid of anything. Whether sickness or financial devastation comes, Jesus is always there to bring us out in victory.
I have lost everything and been so joyful and grateful when I had Jesus with me, but when I had expensive cars and a million dollar home with all the upgrades before I knew Jesus, I was so miserable and never satisfied. I was missing the One thing that brings us into a real life and fills our souls with good things, and that is Jesus.
When I became aware that Jesus was real and wanted a relationship with me. I was in awe of all that He had done for me and all that He wanted to do with me. He didn’t just want to see me one day in Heaven, he wanted to hang out with me everyday and help me with everything from making it to appointments on time to buying the perfect Christmas gift for that person who seems impossible to please.
I didn’t just find a Savior that lived a long time ago, I was awakened to what my soul had always thirsted for but never could be quenched with the stuff of the world. He is the love of my life who brought me from darkness to light. I found a eternal partner that will never leave me even if everyone else goes. No matter what happens with my family and friendships, I always have the One that I need to make me laugh, to encourage me, to teach me and show me things that are so amazing and awesome, to open doors that no one can shut or block, and to keep me in perfect health and full of joy and love all my days here now and forever.
If you don’t know what I am talking about, I am so sorry that no one ever told you what it means to be a beloved child of God and a Bride for King Jesus.
I am married with a family, but Jesus is more real to me than even the children that I birthed and raised.
There is only one way to true life and that is being united to Christ Jesus. If you seek Him, you will find Him. If you pray and believe in Him, and read the Bible and learn who He is, you will never ever regret that, but if you choose to always ignore him and never give your life to him, you will regret that for all eternity.
When people say they don’t want to hear about “your God” or Jesus, it is because they have believed lies about who he is and what He is like. If you enjoy being lavished with love and blessings, then you should spend your life praising the Lord and loving him by helping others who are in need, but if you prefer anger, hatred, jealousy and bitterness towards everyone and everything that did you wrong, than Jesus isn’t for you.
Jesus is merciful and kind. He is powerful and Holy, but He is found with the lowly and broken. He is the protector and provider and the healer and deliverer. He is the hope and joy and peace and love that every soul longs to know. Most don’t know they are desperately in need of Him, but I am telling the truth when I say that every single soul was meant to find him and be united with him.
For those of you who don’t know him yet, you don’t have to hear about him and decide if he is worth your time, you can simply taste and see that He is good by asking this:
“God, I have heard about you, but I don’t really know you personally as my reality. I was wondering if you might be willing to take my heart and flood it with your love right now, so that I might understand what you are really like?”
If you find yourself completely undone by the love my Lord has for you, you might want to go ahead and make him your Lord and Savior too!
You just ask him to forgive you of all of your past mistakes that were done without him, and ask him to give you a new life with his Holy Spirit directing you and helping you every step of the way.
Do read the gospels and learn what the Lord did for you to be able to be reconciled back to God, because it will make you love him and others so much more!
