Reach Out Your Hand to Pull Another into the Light

After laying down my plans and dreams to take on a role of Christ living, I found my heart aching day and night. I discovered that all of the plans and busyness of this world was hollow and empty for those on the other side.
The other side of the light: The people in great darkness who walk in ways that are not good or right. They don’t believe in good for themselves or for the world around them. They stumble around hiding out in caves of destruction and swimming in seas of deception. They are not people that are stupid or cruel, they are merely people that have been victims of an ugly darkness in the world. These people are oppressed in every way. They are trapped in addictions, sickness and a constant torment of the things from their past.
They have been targeted by evil as a game or plan to destroy the rest of the people. With anguish and despair as the daily food for the souls, they can’t escape the rough places where venomous snakes attack and lay hold. When they try to escape the pits their feet have fallen into, the net of envy and bitterness entangle them in sin. It is a torturous road that holds no hope in the eyes of man, but through the eyes of LOVE, Light is able to pour in.
It is never easy to escape a web of deception that an enemy has laid, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother and that friend already paved a road to freedom for all this day! Jesus Christ gave up his life and his earthly gain in order to create a hope for every person that lives this day.
When things are unclear and there is no sign of hope drawing near, it is necessary to put your faith and trust in one that you don’t yet know, but it has been written that he will rescue you from destruction and repair and restore your worn soul. He offers a new life that is born of the Spirit of God and free from the traps and pitfalls of this world. That sounds wonderful for most, but when life has only shown someone the worst, it becomes harder to see or imagine anything that will ever be beautiful and good in the midst of confusion and fear.
I read a scripture today that said those who forsake God will be lost in confusion and frustration. It broke my heart to hear that, because that would be so unfair to the people that did nothing but struggle and try to find anything to escape the terror.
I then remembered some other scripture that I read recently that God said he would do certain things in order to ensure that the people and their children would no longer be destroyed. It said that He would lead them in paths that their feet had not known and take them from places they once called their homes.
