Take away this contrite and lowly heart; oh lead my soul from the dark. Pave a purposed path that leads faithfully back. Undefiled love full of mercy and grace, A light so bright nothing else can replace.
From beginning, was told the end. A journey that passing time would mend. The truth, reverentially rings in the ear. One voice of praise is all we now hear!
Hallelujah! We can run back to You! Your mercy calls out our name. Instantly the light shines out the shame.
