For more than fifteen years, I have followed the stories of children in our foster care system; children who have endured unimaginable abuse, neglect, and, in far too many cases, death. Over these years, I have not seen a sudden spike in runaways, teen suicides, sex-trafficking victims, or teen pregnancies. What I have seen is this:
People are finally paying attention to what has been a heartbreaking reality all along.
Our youth deserve better.
They deserve stability, hope, and the right tools to rise above hardship.
They deserve an education and a community that equips them not one that leaves them vulnerable.
We spend so much time arguing about how to fix the issues, yet the truth is this:
These issues wouldn’t exist in the same way if we were giving children the right foundation from the beginning.
Scripture tells us plainly:
Jesus is the foundation.
Anything built on anything else will fall.
Yet our schools continue to exalt human wisdom, human strength, and human theories while shutting the door on the One foundation strong enough to sustain a child through every storm of life.
We insist on teaching evolution and other ideas that create confusion, while refusing to allow children to hear the Words of God. God’s word heals, strengthens and leads a person on the correct path. They get anchored with hope in Christ instead of hoping they are good enough or strong enough or skinny enough or smart enough.
They are no longer believing the lies about being worthless or stupid, because they have a real relationship with the LIVING GOD.
God is their source for wisdom, healing, understanding, council and any and everything they could ever need!
But if we continue to keep them in the dark about God and what is written for them to be taught and arise in Christ, we will be held accountable for what we did and didn’t do to help the future generations be saved!
It is time for us to stop elevating lies and start equipping children with truth.
Recently, while in Japan, I watched a class of young students on a field trip to a Buddhist temple. Their teachers were proudly explaining the history of their land, their beliefs, and their culture. Those children were being taught the traditions of their ancestors without apology or fear.
It made me stop and think:
If it is valuable for their children to learn their religious and cultural history,
how much more valuable would it be for our children to learn the history and truth found in Scripture?
Our children deserve to know that:
• They were intentionally created by God.
• Their lives carry purpose, calling, and meaning.
• They are not here merely for entertainment, screens, or social trends.
• They are here because God has destined them for something greater.
They deserve the chance to hear the words of life so they can truly live.
It is time to clear away the confusion, the noise, and the false foundations.
It is time to prepare our teachers—not to be silent, not to be afraid, but to be bold in truth and committed to giving our youth what no theory, no trend, and no human philosophy can provide:
A foundation that lasts.
A faith that holds.
A truth that transforms.
Our children’s future depends on it.

Christ Jesus the only name given to man unto salvation. His name means Salvation.
