From 2 Thessalonians 1:4 Paul shares the keys to our victory.
1. A growing faith in Christ
2. Increasing love for others
3. And unwavering hope
Those things sound easy enough but when you have people who are members of the church speaking harshly towards you or burdening you with heavy demands or slandering others and wanting you to listen to their negativity, it can be difficult.
Now add onto that unbelievers wanting to blame you and crush your faith with their unbelief and hatred.
Perhaps you are surrounded by fearful people who want to project all their fears on you by speaking death and doom and gloom.
Maybe they just won’t shut up and their mouths are like a clogged toilet filled with sewage that is causing quite a stench! There is a wonderful way of escape! Pour out your heart before the Lord day and night and release all of it to Him, so that you don’t get weighed down with the cares of this world.
Lift up your voice in praise and worship the Lord in great reverence and all those negative things will begin to disappear until the only thing left is the glory and powerful presence of our mighty God.
He inhabits the praise of His people and if you don’t know this yet, simply begin thanking Him for everything and only allow good thoughts and words to come from you, and you will begin to understand their are realms that you can walk in where no negativity is found and the fullness of joy floods your heart daily.
God’s love is so lavish and inclusive to all who turn to Him in truth that it doesn’t take much to encounter our Holy and beautiful Savior.
King Jesus is King of all and over all, so a quick side note for those who are doing the “no king” protests, Jesus will always be King and all those haters will either be crushed by the waves of glory crashing into entire cities or they will simply find themselves sobbing on their knees when they finally wake up to the Truth and realize that they have been fighting against the greatest Love and most powerful and pure creator who not only made them for His plans and purpose but loves them with everlasting love that conquers ALL evil.
