Paul prayed this prayer for the holy believers in his day to experience the fullness of God in them. To know the love of Jesus is what changes a person from selfishness and self seeking to open and flowing with the love of God that brings others out of the darkness and into the light of this extravagant love.
When I had a visitation from the Lord in 2016, He told me that most people who say they know Him have never really known Him. He didn’t explain what that meant, but I truly feel it had to do with people being more religious than in right relationship with the Lord. Being in union with the Lord isn’t about following rules and laws, but about being in love and honoring the Lord by trusting Him completely with every area of our lives. From our children to what we should eat or where we should invest our money and time each day.
When I first discovered this amazing Christ and all that it means to belong to Him, I was so completely saturated in love that it was impossible for me to pass by anyone in need and not reach out to help them. It wasn’t because I had to do that, but it was what I wanted to do, because I was complete and fully satisfied in the perfect love that I was saturated in daily.
When we are free of thinking about what we have to do or what we can get, than we can discover what was done for us and how much more there is to gain by being in an intimate relationship with the Lord. He isn’t just a character from a book or out of history, He is my beloved and I am His.
Leave everything behind and run with Him! It is so worth it!
I pray this prayer over the body of believers and anyone who reads this post. Be blessed and filled up to the fullness of love!
“And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!”
