This video is the simplest way to help someone understand who they are once they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. No longer living for selfish desires or for the will of man, but now they are living stones being built up together as a dwelling place for God to live.
When I first heard the Good News and believed it in my heart, I was given the gift of the Holy Spirit of God. I knew nothing about what that really meant yet, but I was excited to learn and that was the first key to the new life in Christ; wanting to learn and grow up into all that God has planned for each individual.
Each day I would spend hours reading or listening to the Word of God through the wonderful Bible App that makes it possible for people everywhere to have the Word of God for Free. When I read the gospels, I was surprised and confused, because I didn’t know anyone anywhere that was living like Jesus had taught to the early church. It was sad and made me wonder what happened that caused the nation to be so far from where Jesus said we should be living (in His Love).
I knew that God was real after He very powerfully answered my prayers and told me to pray bigger because He wanted to do far more than the tiny request that I was asking from Him (to save one life a day). Well that set me on a wild adventure that has no ending of course, but had definitely been a lot of tears, laughter, prayers and peace that can’t be explained because the same situations cause people away from God to literally become insane or end up with a nightmare of a life that looks and feels like hell.
That is the best way I can describe it to a nonbeliever, because there is no peace for the wicked (unbelievers), but Jesus said that His family members are those who do the will of His Father.
So what is the will of the Father? To believe and accept the One He sent into the world to take away the sin of the world and reconcile man back to God forever. That was of course Jesus our Messiah and King. He was sent only to the house of Israel at that time, but His own people rejected Him and crucified Him while asking for a murderer to be released instead by Pilate. The people preferred a murderer over the Son of God to live among them.
Think on that for a moment and see how that same thing plays out every day with every person at some point or another choosing a murderer over a savior out of spiritual blindness and deception.
God isn’t trying to trick anyone. In fact, He was clear from the beginning that He would send a savior for all people one day. He gave all of the details of his arrival and even his descent into hell. The only part not known was that it was all meant to cause all people to be in need of mercy and grace so that not one person could stand accusing another for their misdeeds because all were assigned to disobedience by God so all would need a Savior! Jesus is the Only One who is able to save even the most awful sinners draped in darkness. No matter what they have done, Jesus is still able to make them brand new by removing completely that weight of sin’s guilt so they can stand before God unstained and innocent.
If people refuse to accept the free gift of salvation by accepting what Jesus did for them and making Him their Lord, they will live condemned for all of their sins no matter how good they think they are, none is good enough to make themselves clean without the shed blood of Jesus.
The enemy is the one who blinds the minds of the unbelievers so they live deceived and delusional. Not only that but they have satan as their master and they don’t even know it. They chose a murderer instead of a Savior! Do you see the wisdom of God through this disobedience of the people? He needed people to stop accusing and harming others and start forgiving and loving each other.
He didn’t create the world to be full of wars and all sorts of violence and hatred. He created it to be a place where He could interact with the people He created and loved with an everlasting love. He wanted a family, but not the selfish, greedy, spiteful, bitter and cruel humanity that came through the fallen seed of Adam who gave satan his authority and lost his place with God.
Don’t stay in the darkness. Ask the Lord to save you and give you a life of joy and grace that He has waiting for each of us. Come home all you lost and broken souls under the wrong master. We were all there and many still are now, so don’t think you will be judged by anyone in God’s true family when you come home. I can’t guarantee that won’t happen if you go into religion and the traditions of man. Get the truth and don’t let go of it! It is Jesus!
