Zion is the New Jerusalem that comes down from God as a Holy City where God will dwell forever.

Through the finished work of Jesus, people can become a new creation born again by the Spirit of God and made into a permanent dwelling place for the living God. There is no sickness in these people who have fully believed the Word of God and surrender all of their cares to God and trust the Lord to lead them daily. They are not concerned about what they will eat or wear. They are consumed by the Lord Jesus and they look at no man for their strength, but Jesus alone is their fortress of safety and their peace in times of trouble.

The people. Of God are not fixed on the problems of the day, because they live in the True Reality of God’s salvation which is the Lord Jesus.

Being made one with Christ, they no longer seek after selfishness or making themselves exalted, but they live to exalt the Lord Jesus in everything they say and do.

You can spot these beautiful and holy ones by the way they love and care for others without fear or dread. For they are only doing what they hear and see their Father doing. Healing the sick, setting free the oppressed, caring for the weak and feeding the hungry. They have a rich abundance of spiritual food to feed others and their lives are overflowing with the lavish love of God Himself. They are the shining lights in a time of darkness for others. They don’t lead others astray, but they guide them as the children of God to the source of all nourishment and true life.

Speaking words of truth in love, they help those who are being led astray by wrong thinking and the ways of the unbelievers who want to lead others into error by proclaiming them peace when they have none themselves to give.

People who love to create new crisis and issues of falsehood that came from their own rejection of the truth and the desire to rule themselves by allowing themselves to listen to fear, and failure rather than the Words of God which are Spirit and life. When you hear leaders of nations full of anger and making declarations of doom and destruction for their people if they won’t vote for them or if they refuse to accept their own sinful plans that cause innocent lives to be destroyed in error, these are not the people you can put your faith or trust in to create a brighter or better tomorrow, because it is only the faith in God that brings beautiful outcomes and causes righteousness to flourish in a nation.

Man without God, is under the power of the enemy of God known as satan or the accuser of the brethren, because he is always bringing charges against God’s creation and trying to get them to look and act like him rather than like the One who gives them life and who loves them so much that He sent His only begotten son into the world to die for all the sins of man from the beginning through eternity, so that all could be reconciled back to God through believing on Jesus as their Savior and being washed clean by the blood of the lamb (Jesus was that sacrificial lamb of God). Through the blood of Jesus all men can receive freedom from the guilt and condemnation and weight of sin. It is only the blood of Jesus that can ever make any man right with God. Nothing else will make a person right on their own because nothing else has the power to remove the stain snd disgrace of sin.

If a person believes they are made right with God through the finished works of Jesus, they have the boldness to come before God and ask for help in their time of need and they will receive mercy and grace to empower them to make it through anything this world can throw at them.
