Imagine hearing that your child has a rare brain cancer that no hospital in your community is equipped to treat. A single mother from Nogales Was facing this tragic news with no means to pay for the treatment available in the United States even after she got her son to the hospital in Tucson. Fortunately God is never short on creative ideas or healing miracles for all who will believe.
It was almost 8pm on Good Friday when I received a text asking me to pray for an eleven year old boy at the Children’s Cancer Hospital in Tucson. My friend mentioned that she might be going to Tucson to pray for the child, so I offered to take her because I was eager to see God do a great miracle and I had been praying that He would use me to do something wonderful to help another in need all morning, so perfect timing!
The prior Sunday, I was given a really unique gift that was a face of Jesus charm from Israel that had been purchased almost forty five years earlier and prayed over and blessed by the Pope at that time, as well as the famous Evangelical Healing ministry of Kathryn Kuhlman. It was one of the most precious gifts that I have truly ever received and I was so happy to know that it would find its rightful owner when I placed it into the eleven year old boys hand that night.
We arrived to the hospital around 1am, and we were able to go straight in with the family to pray for the boy. I didn’t speak Spanish well enough to communicate with any of them, but my friend did so I had her tell the family about the pendent of the face of Jesus that I placed into the boys hand, and as I was speaking, I began to prophecy that the child had a special priestly anointing for his life and would have a healing ministry that would start even before they could leave the hospital, as he would begin to pray for the children in all the rooms, they would be healed and set free from Cancer and all infirmities.
The child didn’t understand English so he had no idea what I was saying, but he suddenly began taking the object and holding it in the hand that he was using now to represent the blessing of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as he moved it across his body to make the cross shape and then would lift it up and kiss it and do it again. I assumed he was Catholic and that was what he was taught, but then his mother was laughing and began telling my friend that she couldn’t believe he was doing that because he had never been taught what that was or how to do it.
I was watching him and I realized it was the anointing that was on the object from the prayer and blessing released over it forty five years earlier by the Pope and Kathryn Kuhlman.
I had my hands on his head and could feel the power of God working to heal the brain tumor as my friend and I prayed in a supernatural language and I continued to declare the glory of God was filling him and giving him God’s shalom.
That boy was healed almost instantly and his head was free of the pressure and he could see clearly again. I also anointed him with oil from Jerusalem that he was eager to help me with and he held those items in his hand just thrilled to have them even after he was sound asleep an hour later.
When I realized that God had been planning that kids rescue well before he was even born, I was in awe over what He had planned for that holy day known as Good Friday, April 15, 2022.
Forty five years that object from Israel had been waiting to reach his little hands and begin a mighty work in his life. The Lord knew when it was going to be needed and how he would get it into his hands that day, and so the Master crafted all our lives together for that moment in time to rescue the child and ensure a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation would come forth to finish the final work of healing the nations. Wow! It was like that kid knew it already and was just waiting for his time to come out of that bed of affliction and begin his work with Christ.
